  • Our New Home Specialist can help you pinpoint the perfect homesite for your new home in one of our amenity-rich communities or in the greater Wilmington area. If you already have a lot, we’ll help you choose the ideal home plan to maximize property and home value.

  • If you think CBG is the right builder for you, we’ll execute the residential construction contract and officially become a team. We’ll start by building a relationship – then together we’ll build your home.
 If you are obtaining a construction loan, we will work with your lender to ensure they get the needed documentation for a smooth transaction.

  • Our team will work with you to translate your custom design ideas into physical construction plans and offer any early stage recommendations. Scaled construction drawings for review include:

    • Floor plan (interior/exterior dimensions, window sizes, door swings, etc.)
    • Front, rear and side elevations
    • Roof plan
    • Foundation plan
    • Preliminary Electrical plan
    • Home and Driveway site plan
    • Scope of work for lot preparation (tree removal, drainage, etc.)
  • The New Home Designer will facilitate meetings with our trusted vendors and guide you through the selection of space enhancing finishes for your home. This thorough interior and exterior consultation will help you make informed decisions about the quality, aesthetic beauty and price of your home’s finishes.

  • Let’s build your home. Regular communication with your Project Manager and Project Coordinator will you keep you in the progress loop at all times. If you’re out of town, we’ll provide plenty of photos and phone calls so you can stay involved remotely.

  • About a week before completion, we’ll schedule a live walk-through and new home orientation. Together we’ll make a punch-list, which will be taken care of quickly so you can move in as soon as you’re ready.
 Closing day is an exciting time when we see your vision become a reality and admire the finishes that make your home uniquely yours.

  • We stand behind our work. Your Project Coordinator will guide you through our comprehensive one-year warranty program as well as other important information about your home including extended warranties on products and materials in your home that will be transferred to you at closing.
