Sean Lewis

Sean’s interest in building started at 19 years old when he took a job as a carpenter helper. That hands-on introduction quickly turned into a lifelong career.

Originally from Monrovia, Maryland, he has now spent decades in construction. He worked for six years as a carpentry subcontractor before starting his own company, Lewis Home Builders Inc., where he spent 15 years building custom homes, additions, and remodels. For the past 13 years, he has served as Construction Manager at Charter Building Group.

Having owned a building company himself, he understands what it takes to manage schedules, subcontractors, budgets, and client expectations all at once. To him, construction is about details, communication, and staying ahead of problems before they become issues. That experience shapes how he approaches every project today.

What he enjoys most about working at Charter is being part of a strong team. It takes coordination between staff and subcontractors to bring a client’s vision to life, and he takes pride in being part of that process. Watching a home come together from start to finish never gets old.

When he’s not on site, you’ll find him dirt bike riding, mountain biking, or spending time outdoors. Being in nature is where he recharges.
